Digital Streaming + Ebook Help

We hope that you are already familiar with accessing our digital resources. However, we understand new technology can be tricky. So if you’re new to this option we want to make it as easy and accessible as possible. Since we are extending this offer to the entire Seedbed tribe (and their churches), we anticipate a lot of inquiries hitting our inbox.

Below you will find both written instructions for digital streaming and e-book download, as well as a video tutorial walking you through the download process. If you’re having any issues, we hope that this will serve as your first and secondary line of support. However, if troubles persist, please feel free to reach out to us directly at and we will assist in troubleshooting!

Here's how it works:

  1. Create a Vimeo account at with an email address and password you feel comfortable sharing (if you plan on sharing your video access with group members).
  2. Purchase the “Digital streaming of video” option from the dropdown selector of any Seedbed video study.
  3. After you complete your order, you’ll receive a link to the videos on Vimeo, as well as a password for unlocking them (although it should happen automatically).
  4. The videos will be stored permanently in the Purchases area of your account. If you are using this with a group, please share the login credentials with your group members and they can jump in and watch at any time. Multiple people can log in at once, so no one will kick anyone else out by viewing.

  • Do I have to have a Vimeo account? Yes, a Vimeo account is required to access our digital streaming content.
  • Where do I enter the code? After your purchase from Seedbed, you will not need to provide any additional payment information to Vimeo. If your access code isn’t automatically applied, please refer to your access PDF and the discount code you were provided. There will be a little blue line with “apply promo code” where you can apply that code to unlock the videos.
  • How can I access the videos? These videos will be stored in your Vimeo account under Purchases, but they are also downloadable, so you can also download the videos to your computer from Vimeo and access them without internet connection.

Downloading ebooks from smaller retailers can sometimes feel a little confusing, so we want to answer in advance some questions you might have. We also know that there are a variety of different e-book reader options out there and it’s not necessarily one size fits all in terms of troubleshooting. Some common questions and answers are listed below.

Which ebook file should I download?

Ebooks come in two different formats — .mobi and .epub. MOBI is formatted for Kindle reading, while EPUB is formatted for other e-readers (Kobo, Nook, etc.). When in doubt, do some research to make sure you understand what file your reader is designed to manage.

How do I access my ebook file after purchase?

Following your purchase, you'll receive two emails. The first will be an order confirmation. It will be followed by a second email containing a download link.

How many devices am I able to download by ebook onto?

The link you receive by email will allow four different downloads, meaning you have the ability to put your ebook on four different devices.

Do I own my ebook?

When you download an ebook from Seedbed, you actually receive a file that downloads to your computer or other device. You own your ebook free and clear (as long as you keep track of the file).

How do I put my ebook on my e-reader?

If using a tablet, such as an iPad, the file you're delivered should automatically open in your e-reader app (for a .mobi file this will be the Kindle app, for an .epub it will likely be iBooks). Just click the link from your email client on your tablet.

To get the file onto your Kindle e-reader, follow these instructions:

  1. Connect your Kindle to a computer using a USB cable.
  2. Open the Kindle drive. You will see several folders inside, one of which will be named "documents." Drag and drop the downloaded file there.
  3. Safely eject your Kindle device from your computer and unplug the USB cable. Your content will should then appear on the Home screen.

Find instructions here for emailing your file to your Kindle.
