Entire Sanctification

William M. Arnett

The subject of this paper, "Entire Sanctification," is a special area of the broad theme of sanctification. The term"sanctification" in a general sense means "the hallowing of the Christian believer by which he is freed from sin and enabled to realize the will of God in his life." Whatever we may know concerning the personal sanctity, however, has its source in what is revealed about the holiness of God. This must be our starting point, as the Scriptures plainly teach (1 Peter 1:15, 16).
